Forged in Resilience: The Origins of Thakur Exclusive
The journey of Thakur Exclusive began after India’s Partition in 1947, when our grandfather, a migrant from Pakistan, built a new life from scratch. Carrying fabrics on his shoulders, he walked miles daily to sell clothing, raising three children alone after the loss of his wife. His relentless hard work and faith helped him buy a small shop in Sirsa, marking the beginning of a family legacy rooted in determination, trust, and service to the community.
Following in his footsteps, our father expanded the business with dedication and integrity, nurturing customer relationships built on honesty and goodwill. As children, we learned the essence of entrepreneurship within this humble shop. Over time, we scaled operations by reinvesting in a larger home and commercial space in Sirsa, paving the way for the next phase of growth that would transform our family business into Thakur Exclusive.

OUR DESTINATION
From Tradition to Triumph: The Growth of a Legacy
The 1990s brought new challenges and opportunities. After the passing of our elders, we—three brothers—took charge with a shared vision to modernise and expand. Learning from wholesale markets across India, we ventured into manufacturing in 2007, starting with four machines in Kundli. Through perseverance, that humble setup evolved into a professional unit with over 100 machines, skilled artisans, and dedicated designers shaping premium ethnic wear.
Today, Thakur Exclusive operates with 400+ workers, 6–7 in-house designers, and structured departments for design, production, and quality control. Achieving a turnover beyond ₹100 crores, we now aim for ₹400 crores. Despite business diversification, our entrepreneurial spirit and family values remain unshaken. More than a brand, Thakur Exclusive stands as a story of survival, craftsmanship, and enduring legacy spanning generations.
